Exhibition Consideration | Overheard Conversation Collection | Typing up amount

Today saw me typing up 150 A5 handouts to be slotted into the exhibition leaflet. The size and paper was determined because of how clearly presented it would be and hidden in the leaflet, slotting in nicely to go unseen until it is opened.

The process of typing these up took around 3/4 hours, each typed by hand as the type writer allowed me to create 150 unique and personal pieces. It involved me taking an edited overheard conversation from my book of recordings, centering the paper so that the collection of words land directly into the middle, keeping the pieces consistent, especially if anyone is to get more than one to compare them. It also made good use of the space on the paper. Once each one is typed, I placed into a pile. This then goes onto the next stage of slotting them into the exhibition leaflet, when this is printed and folded on the day.
